What you will do

  • Advise management and internal teams on legal matters affecting business decisions.

  • Provide regulatory advice and handle engagement with regulatory authorities.
  • Review and negotiate vendor contracts.
  • Manage company secretarial duties and corporate governance matters.
  • Handle litigation and debt collection, including supervising external lawyers.
  • Develop and deliver legal training and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage legal expenses and monitor the legal budget for the East Africa region.
