What you will do
- Maintain and prepare books of account using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or other accounting software.
- Provide monthly financial management accounts.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies such as NSSF, NHIF, PAYE and VAT.
- Manage petty cash and maintain filing systems for accounting documents and vouchers.
- Handle payments and procurement processes according to the finance manual.
- Prepare and get approval for monthly bank reconciliations by the 10th of the following month.
- Manage billing, receipting, and update client accounts.
- Maintain asset registers.
- Review expenditures for accuracy, validity and completeness of supporting documents.
- Prepare ledgers and journals and support internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from a recognized university.
- CPA or ACCA Intermediate qualification.
- Good communication skills.
