Electrical Engineer (3 Needed)

• Carry out electrical installations, wiring, equipment setup, and commissioning following technical and safety standards.
• Inspect and test electrical installations to ensure they function correctly and meet requirements.
• Prepare reports on installations and suggest improvements when needed.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, including UPS and power protection devices.
• Inspect equipment for defects or wear and carry out repairs within technical ability.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and suggest ways to reduce equipment downtime.
• Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate tools and procedures, document findings, and escalate complex issues.
• Provide technical support to clients during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Explain equipment operation and maintenance clearly to clients, maintaining good relationships, especially with Somali-speaking clients.

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, equipment maintenance, technical services, or industrial maintenance.
• Strong hands-on experience with electrical installations, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnosing faults.
• Experience using electrical testing instruments and maintenance tools safely.
• Basic understanding of electrical control systems and power protection equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.
• Fluency in Somali and English is preferred, especially for those with experience serving Somali-speaking clients.

The salary offered is between KSh 35,000 and KSh 50,000 per month.
