Job Requirements
For
appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Served in the
grade of Senior Sports Technician a minimum of period of three (3) years;
- Certificate in
sports Administration and Management of equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Certificate in
First Aid from a recognized institution; and
iv.
Demonstrate
merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Selection,
classification and training of athletes and trainees in sports; officiating sports events;
- Creating sports
awareness and identifying youths with sports talent;
- Developing sports
talent; Preparing teams and organizing for sports competitions;
- Identifying
talented athletes for advanced training. Availing and advising on use of local sports facilities and equipments during competitions;
- Drawing,
implementing and evaluating sports programs and preparing reports of sports programs and activities in the district.
Salary disclosed: KES 41,420 - 57,230
