What you will do
- Supervise the distribution and completion of repair work orders.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and evaluating preventative maintenance programs.
- Manage physical plant equipment including refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, and life safety systems.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Engineering and related departments.
- Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities to determine required work.
- Operate generators and fire pumps as needed and provide emergency response services 24/7.
- Train employees in safety procedures and support new hire orientation and ongoing training.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in a technical field.
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment.
