What you will do
- Receive and register supplier invoices and payment requests.
- Verify invoices against supporting documents and confirm accuracy including taxes.
- Record approved invoices and creditor transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Prepare payment schedules and payment batches for authorization.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly accounts payable reports and support audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- At least two years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Practical experience with Zoho Books accounting software.
- Good knowledge of supplier reconciliations, invoice processing, payment controls and basic taxation.
- CPA Part I or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
