PLANT MECHANIC III

Maintenance and repair of County Equipment’s; Repair and maintenance of county Light and heavy construction plants, earth Moving equipment’s off the Road Trucks as instructed by the supervisor; Checks and inspects any defects; Maintaining cleanliness of the work place and maintaining tools of work.

For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: - i. KCSE Mean Grade of D+(Plus) or its equivalent ii. Plant Mechanic National Trade Test Certificate Grade III with proven practical experience of three years as Plant Mechanic III.

iii. Relevant Preliminary Level Apprentice Certificate awarded by the Directorate of industrial Training with a proven practical experience of three years as plant mechanic III
