Qualifications/Requirements
▪ Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery from a recognized university (MBChB or MBBS)
▪ Experience working in an Internal Medicine department; or
▪ Demonstrated interest in pursuing Internal Medicine
▪ Registered and with a valid license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and
Dentists Council
▪ At least one (1) year internship experience in either a public or private hospital. ▪ Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support

▪ Knowledge of healthcare policies, documentation, and reporting procedures. ▪ Proficiency in computer skills (especially Health Management Information
Systems)
Desirable competencies ▪ Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills. ▪ Knowledge of the laws of Kenya, regulations, guidelines, and health schemes. ▪ Good report writing skills.
