Duties and Responsibilities
Implementation of documentation and library work programme in a departmental library /Information Centre, indexing and abstracting journal articles; operating current awareness services (CAS); editing of reports, newsletters and other publications and selection and purchasing of information and other research materials in consultation with professionals and researchers.
For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: - i. Bachelors’ degree in library studies or Information Science or equivalent qualification from recognized institution; and ii. Certificate in Computer Application.
