What you will do

  • Prepare and cook meals following the School's menu and standards.
  • Handle, store, and serve food properly to ensure safety and quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and equipment.
  • Serve meals on time according to schedule.
  • Monitor food supplies and report shortages or needs.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth meal preparation.
  • Follow working hours and report punctually.
  • Carry out other kitchen-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Certificate or training in Food Production, Food & Beverage, Catering, or related field is an advantage.
  • Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a school, institution, hotel, or similar environment.
  • Hold a valid Food Handling Certificate.
  • Possess a valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
  • Have strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
  • Be reliable, disciplined, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Be able to work the required hours and follow the School's schedule.
  • Be physically capable of performing the job duties.
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
