We are seeking a proactive and organized Shift Area Coordinator to oversee daily operations, drive shift performance, coordinate teams, ensure accurate inventory control and efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and managing staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage. • Allocate tasks to team members based on operational priorities and individual capabilities. • Monitor staff performance during shifts and provide feedback or escalate issues as needed. • Track and report stock levels of operational materials and supplies. • Identify and report inventory discrepancies promptly. • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and regulatory standards. • Implement and reinforce safety protocols and work instructions.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Conduct routine safety checks and report any hazards or violations. • Monitor site security, especially during night shifts or vulnerable hours. • Report security incidents and assist in variance investigations. • Support implementation of corrective actions related to security breaches. • Initiate requisitions for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other operational supplies. • Track requisition status and follow up to ensure timely delivery. • Maintain records of issued PPE and supplies. • Assist in collecting and analyzing shift-level performance data. • Support the Shift Manager in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Contribute to the preparation of scorecards and performance reports. • Participate in Key Business Leadership (KBL) meetings and provide operational insights. • Support productivity planning and execution of improvement projects. • Act as a liaison between frontline staff and management. • Promote efficient use of resources to minimize waste and control costs. • Identify opportunities for cost-saving within operational processes. • Support budget adherence through responsible resource management.

Profile

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 2–3 years' relevant operational experience, preferably in warehousing and logistics
  • Proven experience in team coordination, staff supervision, and daily workflow management.
  • Good understanding of inventory management, operational controls, and performance monitoring.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
